Twin Valley Veterinary Health Services invites applications for a full‑time Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to join our established mixed animal practice. Position Summary

The DVM will deliver medical, surgical, and preventive veterinary services across both small and large animal sectors. Responsibilities include in‑clinic appointments, surgical procedures, diagnostics, herd health programming, ambulatory farm calls, emergency services, and client education. The role requires sound clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical, surgical, and dental care to companion animals.
• Deliver large animal services including bovine, equine, and small ruminant medicine, obstetrics, herd health, and emergency response.
• Conduct ambulatory farm visits and maintain accurate medical records.
• Perform diagnostic procedures including radiography, laboratory testing, and ultrasonography.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, producers, and colleagues.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team‑oriented clinic environment.
• Participate in shared on‑call duties as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Eligibility for licensure with the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association (SVMA).
• Demonstrated competence in both small and large animal practice.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a rural mixed‑practice setting.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for ambulatory services.
